Have you ever wanted to get away to paradise? Well one man certainly can, the Virgin entrepreneur Richard Branson, a Ballistic RIBs customer, can jet off to his British Virgin Islands retreat Necker Island and have a quick ride on his 2 Ballistic RIBs that he has at the island, he is also planned to have even more RIBs destined for his new, luxury, eco-friendly Mosquito Island resort, alright for some isn’t it :P
However, you can share in this luxury because you can rent Necker Island for weddings, relaxation breaks, sports vacations and even complete rentals for any use!

I’m Becoming a Captain!

I have decided that I am going to buy a RIB, but which brand i keep asking myself, I like the look of the Cobra RIB because of it’s family appeal, however, the Zodiac RIB  has power and stability.

In the end I have decided to go with either a Zodiac or a Tornado, I like the idea of a tornado because it’s said to be near-indestructible and be made from strong stuff, it’s also known as the Toyota Pick-Up of the seas because of this.

Although the Tornado RIB was designed for commercial and military use, it’s built up a reputation of being tough and durable and being able to handle some of the roughest seas, all while being able to travel long distances. This is one of the main reason why I would consider Tornado RIBs, the seas are not exactly soft around the UK, plus you have to go long distances for anything interesting where I live :P
Well, by the looks of it, both brand seem to be what I’m after, so I guess I’ll have to see what RIBs they have to offer on JBTMarine and see which one is the best value!

JBT Marine are going to the Verve Clicquet Cowdray Park Gold Cup Polo Final again this year for the 4th year in a row, and they are bringing their RIBs, each year they take a 5.5m, 6.5m and a 7.8m Ballisitc RIBs, although all of the RIBs are on trailer they will let you climb a ladder and take a look around each one.

However, it’s not just the RIBs to see there, the Polo final day is well worth seeing, even if you don’t understand the rules of Polo, it’s a great match to watch.

The final day is on Sunday 20th of July, and if you do come, it’s recommended that you get there early to get a good picnic spot!
