TriSpecs Bluetooth Sunglasses
Ever wanted to combine your sunglasses with your iPad or your phone? How would you like to be able to answer calls without anything more than a touch of your sunglasses? Or to be able to listen to music on the go without getting annoyed with wired headphones or worrying about keeping track of wireless earphones?
Well now you can with the Trispecs Bluetooth Stereo Fashion Eyewear; developed and manufactured by US consumer electronics company Trispecs. The sunglasses, which are fairly stylish given the amount of technology they’re housing, deliver wireless stereo headphones and an integrated Bluetooth headset, allowing you to use them for voice communication.

The sunglasses also feature patented STEP Labs noise reduction technology, cancelling out ambient noise including wind, cars and background chatter. This provides clear, crisp audio, both when listening to music and speaking on the phone.
The frames don’t just deliver when it comes to audio clarity, but they also offer everything you’d expect from modern sunglasses. The SOLA Sunlens lenses (developed by Carl Zeiss Vision) deliver 100% UV protection and extremely high levels of anti-impact resistance. The frames are also RX compatible, meaning you can get them with prescription lenses if required.
If you’d like to grab yourself a pair you can find them at trispecs.com, with prices starting around £120.

Gadgets For Cruising
Going on a luxury cruise for the first time can be a fairly daunting prospect. Of course you already had to navigate the wide range of cruise deals on offer, so when it comes to preparing and packing for a cruise it can be a little different from packing for a normal holiday. Seasoned goers of Luxury Cruises will know to pack formal dress for the evening as you never know if you will be asked to dine at the Captains table. And while luxury cruise ships such as those operated by Cunard Cruises are very well catered for, there are still some items that are essential to modern life. So while you’re busy packing your clothes for your trip, here are a few essential electronics to put in your suitcase.
iPod
If you can’t be without all your music and your special 80’s playlist for more than a couple of hours then you will no doubt need to pack your iPod (or other generic mp3 player). Of course it’s all well and good remembering to pack it in the first place but if you forget the charger you’re screwed after a few hours. Many hotels and cruise ship rooms now feature an iPod speaker dock of some form that will charge your iPod, so you may not be completely up the creak, but don’t rely on it, pack your charger.

Headphones
So you’ve remembered your mp3 play, well done, but without headphones it’s obsolete. There are many different types of headphone available on the market and the ones you own can say more about you then you realise. Taking your fancy open back headphones may give you an excellent audio experience, but the people around you will also get to hear some of what you’re listening to, and not everyone wants to hear Duran Duran at 10am on a Sunday morning half way across the Atlantic. Taking a pair of in-ear or closed back headphones is the best option for everyone.

Camera
It’s an obvious one, but forget it and you’ll loose all of those precious moments for ever and ever (kind of). Like head phones, what camera you have says a lot about you. Rock up with a Canon Mark IV and people will either think you’re a professional or you have too much money. Arrive with a Kodak disposable and people will think you’re cheap, and a Polaroid slung round your neck will suggest you’re from Shoreditch. Many people find a 35mm or a digital equivalent is all they need.

Electronic Backup
So you’ve book a long cruise, maybe one lasting a few months, but there’s no way the memory card on your camera can store 3 months worth of photos. Or if it can, what if some little so-and-so at a Caribbean port half inches your camera and does a runner? If you’ve got a back up device with you then there’s no need to worry. Devices such as the Emtec Photocube will backup all of the photos on your camera so as to keep your memories safe for ever more. If you keep the device in you cabin safe then you’ll be laughing all the way to your laptop. If you’re also taking a laptop

Handheld gaming console
I’m not an avid player of video games, but I realise that many people are and it forms part of their daily routine. So if being without some for of video game is just not an option for you then you’ll want to pack your little Nintendo or Sony SPS in your luggage. The Nintendo 3DS is without a doubt the newest and most popular device available at the moment and will easily slip into ones hand luggage.

Worlds First Power Assisted Luggage
I’m sure everyone has experienced the struggle that takes place when going to the airport, making sure you arrive on time, bringing all the correct tickets and passports, also, your luggage used to be a problem, not so much in the airport, but before you get there and after you leave where you have to encounter a range of different surfaces and slopes that can create quite a struggle and possibly back problems, but this problem is now solved with a the worlds first power assisted luggage from Live Luggage.

The technology within these new suitcases is amazing, with motors in the wheels and a force sensitive handle bar, you can go over any surface with ease.
The suitcase works mainly by the handlebar; the amazing handlebar measures how much force you are using and then depending on the amount, it will start the motors in the wheels making it feel like your pulling a 3kg case no matter what the real weight is.
You may be thinking that’s clever, but it gets betters, the motors use rechargeable batteries to work, and when you go downhill, the batteries will be recharged by the internal charger, how clever is that!
Now comes the nasty bit, they cost £499, which, to the frequent flyer would be a good investment, but for the everyday person going on their Caribbean holiday, not really worth the price tag; I would certainly get one if they came down in price.
