There is usually a way to conceal it in your clothes or wear it on your belt like a pager. However they are very small nowadays and not as big as they were when they hit the world in the 70s. Although I am not sure teenagers care as much as you think about fashion. Although they seem like a good idea they are quite bulky and can be easily seen through clothing. Maybe they are a good idea for children and elderly people but for teenagers who are fashion consious it doesn't look nice to have a bulky box under clothing!
