Anyone who’s a fan of first-person-shooters (FPS) will be well aware of the upcoming release of Battlefield 3; one of the most eagerly anticipated games in recent history.

Not everyone has had to wait to get a taste of the game however, with the multiplayer open beta seeing nearly 900,000 users in the past few weeks. To celebrate the success of the open beta, DICE and EA Games have released some hugely interesting statistics on the popular multiplayer, which has been turned into a fantastic infographic by the team at 1000Games:

Fancy a sing song? Fancy a summer sing song in these warm balmy nights? (I jest on the last part).

Well get those beers in the fridge and get txt’ing as Singstar Summer Party hits town. Although for the PS2, the game will play on the 60gb PS3.

The games has some big names including:

Adele, Amy Winehouse, Booty Luv, Dirty Pretty Things, Girls Aloud, Mika, Peter Andre, Rihanna and the Sugababes to name but a few.

I have to say that I really enjoed playing Singstar Summer Party as I have enjoyed playing all of the other Singstar games, there are so great tracks on this latest Singstar version including Hey There Delilah, Chasing Pavements, I predict a riot, Umbrella and Club Tropicana.

The thing is with Singstar it is not groudbreaking anymore, well it certainly isn’t on the PS2. The PS3 version is a different matter. For die-hard Singstar fans this new version is a must and for the legions of PS2 fans there are still using the console.
